Matt Gallagher - Notary Public, Lawyer
Matt is an experienced science educated lawyer with over 35 years experience in marketing, sales, management, research and development, regulatory and government affairs, trade, risk management and corporate governance.
Matt’s has experience in import/export, trade, company management and government relations in not only Australia, but also South East Asia (where he worked for many years). His experience includes global business development for multinational companies. He has developed a deep understanding of the needs of business for international trading and for individuals’ documentation requirements.
Matt also has extensive experience and interest in Intellectual Property, having been the IP manager at an ASX listed company for 15 years and an active member of the Licensing Executives Society (LESANZ).
Matt has:
- a Master of Laws from Monash University;
- a Degree in Agricultural Science from Melbourne University;
- a Graduate Diploma in Corporate Governance.
Matt is:
- appointed as a Notary Public in Victoria;
- admitted as a lawyer of the Supreme Court of Victoria;
- a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (FCIS);
- a member of the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC);
- a Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia (GIA);
- a member of the Licensing Executive Society (LESANZ);
- a member of the Law Institute of Victoria.
